As a Sales Navigator user, you have access to a Sales Navigator Inbox in addition to your LinkedIn Inbox. Also, based on the messages or InMails you send and the inbox that you send these messages from, responses to those messages are directed to either your Sales Navigator Inbox or your LinkedIn Inbox.

Following are some points to help you understand how messages are directed to your Sales Navigator Inbox and LinkedIn Inbox:

If you send an InMail message in Sales Navigator, the response to that message will appear in your Sales Navigator Inbox.

If you send an InMail or message from your LinkedIn account, the response will appear in your LinkedIn Inbox.

If you send a message to a connection or lead in Sales Navigator, the message will appear in their LinkedIn Inbox.

If someone sends you a message or an InMail, but you didn't initiate the conversation in Sales Navigator, then that message or InMail will appear in your LinkedIn Inbox.
