Manage your LinkedIn feed preferences

Last updated: 5 months ago

Improve your LinkedIn feed by discovering new content and customizing your feed preferences. You can follow, unfollow, or mute people and companies for topics you’re interested in from desktop experience and the LinkedIn mobile app.

Note: All edits to your feed preferences made on the LinkedIn mobile app will be applicable on the desktop experience as well.
To manage your feed preferences:
  1. Click the My Network icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Click Following & followers on the left pane under Manage my Network.

    • You will also find a list of recommended sources to follow on this page.
  3. In the [Your Name]'s Network page, you can view the following tabs:

    • Following - This is a list of people or companies you currently follow. Click Following to the right of the person or company to stop seeing content in your feed from that source. In the Unfollow dialog that appears, click Unfollow. The displayed text will change back to Follow.
    • Followers - This is a list of people who currently follow you.
Notes:
  • If you regularly post content that is engaging and professionally relevant, we may recommend you to other members in their feed preferences as someone to follow.
  • If a member chooses to follow you, you won't be connected but they may see any posts or articles that you share publicly in their feed.
  • Your followers won't be able to see anything that you share to your connections only. If you want to see who's following you, check out your list of followers.
